What I’ve learned this past year

This past year has been awkward. A year ago I saved my long distance relationship and conserved to another year. But unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Just a few days ago, my girl and I parted ways. For some reason, the magic was gone. Whether it be both of us gave up on the relationship… Beats me. It was sad to let something we fought so hard to keep together. For months people would call us stupid for being in such relationship, but it didn’t bother us. I believe that what we had going was genuine and if a spark were to ignite between us at a later time, then maybe we could take it all the way. But nevertheless this past year I learned how to love, how fight for what I believe, how to be there, how to be reliable, and how to not ignore my feelings.
